I looked up from my room, something in the air was different... the air was full of static electricity.
*POP*
I jumped as blue light burst forth in front of me. Why would my room be so full of electricity that the air itself was crackling all around me?
I pushed my keyboard tray in, then pushed myself away from the computer. Turning around in my chair I could see little bursts of bluish white light all around me. They'd start out as little specks of blue light and then they'd pop.
I'm not sure why, but something inside of me had to reach out. I shot my hand out at the small blue speck that was growing in front of me. I closed my hand around it. *POP* My hand glowed an odd yellow color. The tiny explosion hadn't hurt at all.
I got up from my chair and walked over to my window, my feet shuffling across the floor. With each step I took i felt my clothes seemingly start to float in place. My hair started to stand on end, and passing by the mirror I saw I was aglow. I was a walking neon sign with blue electicity forming a living web throughout my hair.
I kept going, my feet still shuffling in their socks. At the window I saw that the pool was glowing a soft blue with brilliant streaks of white and blue light veined in the small currents of the electricity.
Somehow I managed to get to the pool, I don't remember how, I just know that one moment I was at my window, and the next I was at the pool, knelt over.
The water seemed alive and I thrust my hands into it. Nothing happened, except I felt a small tingling sensation through out my entire body. I cupped the water up and let it drain through my fingers. It was beautiful.... One drink... I must have One drink I thought. So I lowered my cupped hands back into the pool and lifted my hands to my lips...

The truth is you could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath I'd apoligize for bleeding on your shirt.
